What I think
Two topics I have clear opinions on. You don't have to agree, but I'd love to talk about them.
AI is powerful, but it cuts both ways
AI can take us to amazing places. But only if you know how to steer it.
To use it well you need two things: a solid foundation, and a clear idea of where you want to go and how you want to get there. With those, AI speeds up the work a lot. Without them, it just helps you get lost faster.
AI doesn’t replace understanding. If you don’t understand what it gives you, you can’t tell when it’s wrong. So I use it as an accelerator, not as a substitute for learning.
Data protection matters, and we’re badly informed
Most people have no idea how much information is taken from them. Metadata, cookies and plenty of other routes collect far more than we think.
On top of that, there’s a lot of disinformation online, and we like and share things way too easily.
Knowledge is power. Where you are, what you eat, what you do every day: if you post everything on social media, all of that is easy to find out. I’m not saying “delete your accounts”. I’m saying it’s worth knowing what you’re giving away before you give it.
Let’s talk
Agree? Disagree? Both are good reasons to write to me.
